1. Introduction¶
Batch traceability is essential for research reproducibility, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Every experiment should be traceable to the specific batch of peptide used.
2. Why Traceability Matters¶
Enables correlation of results with specific batches Facilitates investigation of quality issues Supports regulatory compliance Ensures reproducibility across experiments
3. Batch Number System¶
RPL Peptide batch format: [Abbreviation]-[Year]-[Sequence] Example: SEMA-2026-012 Unique, never reused
4. Production Records¶
Each batch has complete production documentation: - Raw material lots used - Synthesis parameters - Purification conditions - QC results
5. COA Matching¶
Each COA has: - Unique batch number - Product name - Test results - Approval signatures
6. Documentation¶
Keep for each batch: - COA (digital or printed) - Receipt date - Storage location - Usage record
7. Archive Policy¶
COA records: minimum 5 years Production records: minimum 3 years QC data: minimum 5 years Available at https://rplpeptides.com
