Reconstitution Guide — Retatrutide¶
Materials Required¶
- Lyophilized Retatrutide vial
- Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) or sterile water
- Alcohol swabs (70% isopropyl)
- Sterile syringe and needle (1–3 mL)
- Microcentrifuge (recommended)
- PPE (gloves, goggles, lab coat)
Standard Reconstitution Protocol¶
Step 1: Preparation¶
- Equilibrate vial to room temperature (10–15 min)
Step 2: Centrifuge¶
- Brief spin at 3,000–5,000 rpm for 30 seconds
Step 3: Vial Preparation¶
- Swab rubber stopper with alcohol; allow evaporation
Step 4: Solvent Addition¶
- Inject solvent against inner glass wall — NOT directly onto powder
Step 5: Dissolution¶
- Gently swirl until fully dissolved
- DO NOT vortex or shake vigorously
Step 6: Inspection¶
- Clear solution = complete reconstitution

Post-Reconstitution Handling¶
- 2–8°C: up to 30 days
- Aliquot to avoid freeze-thaw
- Label vial with name, concentration, date, batch
