Solubility Guide — Retatrutide¶
Solubility Profile¶
| Solvent | Solubility | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Water | ≥10 mg/mL | Clear solution |
| PBS | ≥10 mg/mL | Biocompatible |
| 0.9% Saline | ≥10 mg/mL | Suitable for research |
| Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% BA) | ≥10 mg/mL | Recommended for reconstitution |
| Buffers (pH 5–7) | ≥10 mg/mL | Optimal pH range |
Recommended Reconstitution Solvents¶
Primary: Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% Benzyl Alcohol) - Recommended concentration: 1–5 mg/mL - Stable at 2–8°C for up to 30 days
Alternatives: Sterile WFI, PBS, 0.9% Saline
Step-by-Step Protocol¶
- Equilibrate vial to room temperature (10–15 min)
- Briefly centrifuge (3,000–5,000 rpm, 30 sec)
- Add solvent against inner wall
- Swirl gently — DO NOT vortex
- Verify clear solution
Concentration Guidelines¶
| Application | Recommended Concentration |
|---|---|
| General Research | 1–5 mg/mL |
| In Vitro Assays | 0.1–1 mg/mL (diluted) |
