1.1 Product Overview
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide fragment corresponding to the active actin-binding domain (LKKTETQ) of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid polypeptide. Tβ4 is the major actin-sequestering molecule in eukaryotic cells and plays a central role in cytoskeletal organization, cell migration, angiogenesis, and tissue repair. TB-500 (Tβ4 fragment) retains the core biological activity of full-length Tβ4, specifically the LKKTETQ motif responsible for binding to monomeric G-actin and modulating actin polymerization.
